Automatic email program?

What's a good bulk email program for Mac (Lion) that accepts a different email list for each email? We don't keep a list of subscribers but get a new list for every single bulk email. Have been using Intellimerge but it won't work under Lion.

  • DirectMail was recommended and we bought it, but it doesn't seem to keep every Recipient List which is what we need. (University sending personalized emails to students that fit criteria -- lists originate in another system and get moved over through Excel.) Every program I've found presupposes you're using a single list and at most picking and choosing from it. We keep but seldom reuse previous lists, but need to keep them available for reference, data collection, etc.

    Posting in case this helps you - MailChimp is a popular, good online bulk mail service. It accepts mailing lists, and can send mails as newsletters too. (However, checking at the bottom of the newsletters that you receive in your mailbox will help you to identify some popular mail services.)
