What should I do for a swollen bee sting?

My mom was stung by a bee yesterday and my dad used the credit card trick to remove the stinger. However, her finger is still really swollen, any suggestions as to take the swelling ...show more

as soon as you get it get a washcltoth and use warm water and put some baking soda on it, leave it on for an hour or so and it shouldn't swell up at all. if this is quite awhile after use some bendrill pills and put some anti-itch cream on it

Ice of course, But when I was little, I always used to get stung and my mom would put mud on it for some reason (yes I know weird) but it really did work.
