I fell over on my bike and scraped my knee and now it feels all sticky!! please help!!?

Clean it really good with good clean water then apply a triple anibiotic crean and cover it with a bandaid or dressing. Do this daily for three days and keep it moist to prevent scaring, then do the same but with out a bandaid till completely heeled. And when is scabs don't pick at it.

The first few answers pretty much got it but I thought u might like to know its called plasma I am pretty sure or bile and it comes out of your blood the sticky clear stuff that is.

I do know of a good remedy, Burt's Bees makes something called Doctor Burt's Res-Q Ointment and it's good for scrapes or burns try that it might help.

if it just happened today, then it can't be infected yet. if you're worried about infection, wash the wound with soapy water, or pour hydrogen peroxide over it and put some neosporin on the band-aid. signs of infection are puss or a greenish or yellowish scab.

Put peroxide on it. If you don't have any put alcohol on it (ouch). keep it clean, if you don't have anything to put on it, rinse it in warm water.

Its not infected ... just keep it clean (soap and warm water)

thats just your new skin growing over it, just keep it clean and put some type of bandage on it if its that bad, maybe a little neo-sporin or some type of cream would help it heal faster

Make sure and clean with an antibiotic cleanser and put antibiotic salve on it. Depending on how serious the scrape is you should bandage it until it begins to heal.
