Answer:
sorry- time to go to the doctor or E.R. depending on the location of the burn. There is WAY too much chance for infection with any type of burn. PLEASE GO It probably is not be 3rd degree but let a Dr. decide that.

Go to the ER if it hurts that bad and it is blister, you could get a infection it could become worse and you can scar.

It's NOT a 3rd degree burn. Even a 1st degree burn can hurt like hell. At the most, you have a 2nd degree if you have a blister. Take some Tylenol/Motrin and go buy some first aid cream at the store. Do not burst the blister.

This is NOT a 3rd degree burn. Put the burned area is ice water and take some aspirin.

If it's really 3rd degree, get to a hospital. Otherwise, get a bag of frozen vegetables out of the freezer, wrap it in a towel and put that on the burn. Sounds weird, I know, but the bag of vegetables will conform to the shape of your burn and be better than ice cubes.

it sounds more like a 2nd degree burn with the blistering skin...a 3rd degree burn usually means seeing bone through burnt flesh...both need medical attention (3rd always!), but a couplke of things to make sure to remember include - always use only fresh water - nothing with any oil base and use sterile bandaging that must be changed after it gets wet...easy to get infection...

if its bubbling up and not just one big bubble than its a third degree bure you need to go to the doctor about that one they have a special medicine so that it wont leave any scars its called ziodyine(silveriodine) or something in that line. and second off you never ever put it under cold or hot water. only luke warm if you put it directly under cold water it will rise the heat out to quick. you need to go to the E.R. and get that tooking care of no first aid cream is going to help that. my back from swimming got 2nd and third grade burns. so i know what i am talking about and good luck. i know it hurts.
