Answer:
I had one like that the other day. Get a pair of tweezers and something like a metal nail file. Clip off your skin around it then pick up ur nail with the file then twez what you can out. It helps the pain.

Soak in hot water as long and hot as you can stand it, cut a pie wedge out of the middle of the part you clip, dig out the ingrown and snip!!

I'am assuming that the foot is clean, but once it is clean get a pale of hot water and a ice cube. Stick your foot down into the hot water ( not scalding hot water) adn let iy soak for five t ten minutes, Take your foot out and apply the ice cube dirctly over the Ingrown toenail . Let set at least until ice cube begins to melt. Once melted begin the process of trying to get underneath the nail and plying it out with clipper. Once under clip toenail

I feel your pain, I used to get them ALL THE TIME - now I usually just wear flip-flops or open toed shoes all the time, so I don't get them anymore - but when I did get them, I would soak it in hot water, then use toenail clippers and a metail nail file with a sharp point to dig out the ingrown nail, then trim the nail off, and just keep an eye on it while it's growing to keep it from becoming ingrown again... Use Neosporin on it after you dig it out, it will be very tender -- and this process is going to hurt, so just be ready for that. :) Good luck!

Soak you foot in hot (not too hot) soapy water until the nail is soft. The edge of the nail should be easier to remove.

you just need to dig it out. get a knife and get it under the edge of the nail. it hurts like hell but i have done it before. you may need to eventually have it cut by a podiatrist and killed along the edge. go to the local E/R. they will fix it and bill you later

Go to your pharmacy and buy some over the counter "out grow"...put that on the ingrown nail and w/in 24 hrs it will work itself out.

I know it's painful, but if you can force a small piece of brown paper bag berween the nail and the skin, it can help.

You can try to dig it out yourself but you could end up doing more damage...you can find a doc that will take you on as emer you are in pain and than you can make payments if you have know insurance go to a quick care or er

i don't know 'cept what my dad told me about his. he lets them grow a little long so they don't dig in. that doesn't seem to be a quick remedy and i have no way of knowing if it's a useful remedy either. good luck !
