get a potato & slice a thin piece off it, make sure u have a little piece with the peeling on it. Place the meaty part of potato on the splinter & cover it with a bandaid. The potato will draw the splinter out in about 48 hours if its not really really deep.

It sounds wierd but if you take a little elmer's glue and apply a lite coat it always works for me! Wait for it to dry then gently peel it off.

If it is difficult to get to because it is embedded, try finding a small metal washer. (a metal round thing with a hole in the middle) Place it right on top of the splinter and push on it just a little. It will help depress the surrounding skin down while not pushing on the splinter (because it's in the hole), making it easier to pull it out with a tweezer. If you have a foreign coin with a hole in the middle you can use that too.

The first thing to try is removing the splinter with tweezers. It may be too deep. The best thing to do then is to use a sterilized sewing needle and CAREFULLY pull it out. This always works for me.

it depends how deep if it is deep use a needle and just move it around then use the tweezers and pull it out. if not just use tweezers
