    you really need to have a x-ray. that is the only way you can be certain. call your dr and ask who you should see or find a minor er that has x-ray equipment. until then take ibuprofen to ease the pain.

lf you sprained lt take a pack of ice and stay off your feet for a while

It sounds like just a very nasty sprain. Try to ice it and stay off of it for a few days. If your foot had been broken, you wouldn't be able to walk on it at all.

It sounds sprained. What you can do is wrap it in an ace bandage and avoid walking on it as best you can. Give it a few days and it should get better, if it doesn't see your doctor. You do not have to get a cast or crutches for a sprain, they usually go away on their own after a few days. Just be sure to keep it wrapped in the ace bandage.

Sometimes you will need crutches when you sprain your ankle depending on how serious it is. If you brake i guarentee you'll know it is severe pain that you never want to expirience again. I broke my wrist once and I automatically knew it was broken

wrap it with an Ace bandage and head off to the Doc or ER to get Xrays I fell Dec 31 and couldn't walk for two weeks.I didn't go to the Doc but i should have since I had to hop everywhere.Not fun on snow or ice or up and down stairs.It finally stopped hurting a week ago!
