Just like that I can say Tommy Cooper, the only comedian I've seen live is Jim Davidson, extremely 'blue' but extremely funny.

my favourite comedians are bill hicks and eddie izzard. i've seen ken dodd a few times, he's actually not too bad live, but his shows can last 4 or five hours, once when i saw him the theatre management turned the lights out on stage at midnight to get him off the stage and he carried on for another half hour in the dark. he's better live than he is on telly
