I can't really explain why she is considered to be so powerful but all I can say is that her fans are pretty religious about her! She's a big name and I can only imagine it's because of how rich she became. Just my guess.

Well she is powerful for these main reasons: winning people's trust, having lots of important, influential friends. She maintains it by being a strong humanitarian. So, whether people like her personally or not, she gets a lot of respect.
