How do you become a talk show host?

race doesn't really play a part in being a host: oprah - *******, rosie o'donnell - caucasian, geraldo rivera - latin, CONNIE CHUNG - ASIAN (although she's a news anchor, not a talk show host) speak with your counselor and tell her that you would like to persue a career in the media. this should give her an idea of what you need to take. my guess would be a course in journalism, creative writing, your definitely going to need good speaking skills, so english is definitely a must. `

i would take speech, mabey start in the school newspaper, when i was in high school we had this tv thing where we did annoucements like that, mabey film, any and everything you could think of about a talkshow

Well i dont leave in the state never in those school. I think you can not be shy nor nervous , have good comunication skill . able to do interesting news that happen in ur school.
