How to stop your lip from bleeding?

My lip is bleeding because I bit it. It has been bleeding for like 40 minutes-- how do i stop the bleeding./?

    you may have something wrong with your blood cells usually when pressure is applies to a cut the bleeding with stop unless your blood doesn't clot fast which means you should go to the doctor to give you something for your blood, because this could mean next time you cut yourself on your arm or leg or anywhere it won't stop which could lead to bleeding to death hope this helps =D

hold ice on it for a few minutes and apply pressure good luck!

warm water and salt. mix it together and rinse. it should help. and it will heal it too. it may sting a little, but it does work. hope it helps!
