Why aren't there any more good black late night talk shows hosts anymore?

  • I remember Arsenio Hall and wonder... where did all of the good black late night talk shows hosts go? Why are there so few and all white?

    Race has nothing to do with anything. But Arsenio is the greatest Late Night Show ever.

i don't know...I liked arsenio hall too, but for years. late night time hosts were generally black...I like watching Tavis Smiley...he is good...

Good question. My personal favorite is Tavis Smiley. His show is more topical. I catch him on PBS sometimes in the wee early hours of the morning.

I don't think it's race because most of the white hosts aren't very good. I think it's WHO YOU KNOW.

Arsenio stunk! That's why he's off the air. Oprah doesn't stay up late at night and besides she USED to be one of my favorite TV show hosts until I found out that she doesn't believe in Jesus. Bill Cosby would be a GREAT host because he is funny and very down to earth.
