Do you think that people who have learning disabilities have disadvantages when it comes to video games?

Video games being heavily dependent on visual and a slightly lesser extent, auditory skills. You need to be able to react to both as quickly as possible, if you have disability that prevents you or even delays your responses to those things, then yes, you would be at a disadvantage vs. someone who did not have such a disability.

Learning disabilities put you at a disadvantage, as far as learning how to play a game. But some games/activities once learned, can actually be a benefit to overcoming/coping with ones' own physical and/or, emotional deficits.

It could be , yes. But not all games are going to put you at as disadvantage. I have seen many kids who have ADHD who are incredible video game players , and can focus on the games very well . Learning disabilites depending on what they are could make it hard to afvance to the next level, but with practice you could still advance , it would just take a little more practice and determination.

i gess it depends on who it is and do they care to actual learn it or not. i be live that you have to want to learn something and be determined to learn it befor you will learn it. if there is a will there is a way is what i say.

It depend what disability some do and some are gifted in playing games. My disability put me at a disadvantage with most types of video games. I like the games you build a zoo and dogs plus cats and some puzzle games which don't involve connotation

Well, video games are never a need. I never played or owned a video game. I came out fine.
