How Many Of You Remember Getting DISHES and TOWELS In Boxes Of Laundry Soap Or DISHES At The MOVIES?

Yes, I remember unfolding those towels that came in the boxes of laundry soap. They seemed huge! And, I was always excited when Mom let me take the towel out of the box.It was almost as good as the prize in Cracker Jacks.I still have several of the glasses that the Shell gas station used to give out for getting gas from them.I loved the "freebie" stuff.

Yes>I remember getting cups out of oat boxes.dishcloths out of flour bags.S&H green stamps from the stores and gas stations.Now all you get is a higher bill.

Yes I use to get glasses and towels out of the "Duz" box. They use to give away Shirley Temple dishes at her movies too. They were cobalt blue.

I do undeed remember seeing dishes & towels in the boxes of laundry soap that my mother bought each week. I don't recall getting dishes that were handed out at the movie theater that I went to as a youngster. Duz laundry soap used to have towels inside but I can't remember if they offered dishes also. Towels & dishes inside the laundry soap? Pretty neat back then huh?
