Whats are the good longboard brands for girls?

  • what would be a good longboard for me? im a smaller girl thats not good at any tricks lol. i would want a smaller longboard just for cruising lol what are the good brands and what ...show more

  • Answer:

I would recomend one of the fully customizable longboards from www.krackedskulls.com. You can get these decks in any size between 38" and 46". Heck, even use the discount code DECA at checkout to recieve a pretty generous discount. Anyways though these boards are great dancers that rival the dervish at a much better price. You could buy a complete for under $150. Just perform a YouTube search on them and you will be amazed. Don't be mislead thogugh these boards are great performers and would work fine for a lighter rider.

Original is the Wal-Mart of longboards. Low quality crap with a lot of shiny marketing. Loaded is a bit overkill (read: expensive) for just cruising. Check out a 38" Kracked Skulls Scimitar with Flashback wheels. Or a 40" M1 with the same wheels. Don't get the quartz grip, take a trip to your local skate shop (or order online) for some. The quartz stuff will wear off fairly quickly. Applying the grip is easy. Just cut it down to the rough length of the board, apply it as-is, then take a metal file or even a screwdriver or something, and rub it against the edges of the board to wear through the grip (it will just peel off after). You can look up videos to see how.
