How can i fix a surf board?what material?

    Since you are asking this question, I am assuming you are a beginner. Since you are inexperienced with repairing boards, it might be a good idea to take it to a shop or someone who has repaired boards before. Watch them fix it and then start doing it your self when you have to. When you are ready to fix these problems by your self, go to the surf shop and buy a ding repair kit. Get they one that has the type of material that your board is (fiberglass or epoxy) and then follow the directions and you fix your board easily.

well the two more experienced people above me told you what you should do...but I will actually answer your question....If YOU wish to fix your board and the damage being fixed isnt too severe than there is a liquid resin compound called SunCure which is what i use for all my dings and holes in my quiver....simply go to a surfshop or go online to purchase suncure and buy the kit..which should include something to apply the SunCure and something to sand it down smooth...and to fix the board simply apply it to the hole or ding liberally and leave it in the sun for 5 minutes...then take fine sandpaper and sand down the hardened material until it is even with the original shape of the surfboard...suncure also only costs 10 bucks compared to the 150-250 dollars charged to have it professionally fixed
