Where can I learn to Surf in West Palm Beach?

Should I surf or wakeboard?

    Try wake skating, it is much better than wake boarding and a heck of a lot more fun than surfing and there's a lot of trick you can do.

i'd say you're asking in the wrong section of yahoo questions ;) no but really, I guess depends on what you want. surfing is dirt cheap once you have a board. think gas to beach + a bar of surf wax every month or two... thats IT. and the rush you get when you get a good wave is enough to keep you happy for days. Get a board, try it out, its cheap. Wake boarding is gonna cost you a grip with the boat gas and what not.

I enjoy surfing WAY more then wake boarding ( but wake boarding is still VERY fun ) but considering you live in West Palm Beach, Florida i say wake boarding

Definitely surf.. its a better scene, better exercise & no boat required. IMO If you have never surfed or wakeboarded i would suggest you try em and see which one YOU like. You might like wakeboarding a lot more or vice versa. hope this helped

i have done both and personally, i like surfing a lot better. you should go with what ever you feel you would like better, but i like surfing. it is a lot more exercise than wakeboarding because you have to paddle around with a board and if shortboarding, pump down the face of the wave for speed. it will definetly keep you in shape. out in the water, all the guys in the line up are nice and you can make some new friends. and when you catch a wave, it feels like you are flying over the water. i dont really get that feeling when i am wakeboarding. its not really the best sport for me. surfing is hard but i love it and i hope you do too, but just try both again and see which one you like. and you dont need a boat for surfing all you need is a board, an ocean, and mother nature deciding that the surfers should get some good waves for the day and in my opinion, its just one of the best things in the world and its much more fun and awesome than wakeboarding
