I was hoping to get a climbing sponsorship and was wondering how i would go about getting it?

Haha Willie almost made me fall off my chair. But he`s right. You are either buying shoes that are knockoffs and made to look like the real thing, thus are falling apart, or you somehow have managed to keep buying defective shoes. My first pair of climbing shoes I bought from REI, as rentals..they were 5.10`s and I still have them today, I lend them out when I go out climbing with someone who doesn't have shoes. But they have to be at least 10 years old. How many pairs of shoes have you bought and what brand are you buying? If you spend good money on climbing shoes they should last you quite a while. I`m only on my second pair and I`ll probably be moving onto my third this summer. Like Willie said...if you cant afford shoes right now and don't know how to spell your potential sponsors` name then chances are pretty slim of being sponsored. If it were that easy we would all be sponsored.
