How to clean rock climbing shoes?

Best way to clean my rock climbing shoes?

  • I climb indoors with cloth/ velcro (*not* leather!) Evolv Heras. I sweat a lot! What's the best way to clean them?

  • Answer:

    I use a long handle dish washing brush and some warm soapy water - scrub out the inside cloth liner quickly and don't let the water soak through to the outer of the shoe, pat dry and let them dry as slowly as possible. Good Luck

I have no problem throughing mine into a washing machine and then drying them on the clothes rack in my laundry.

People i know have put theirs through the washing machine. seems to do an efficient job, shrank them a bit though (but they were leather, not cloth)
