What are some fun games or activities to do with young kids when camping?

    Im sure this is going to be an obvious answer but we always do smores. You could also go on a nature walk and learn about the plants, trees and birds. Collect leaves and pine cones and make something out of them. Pick wildflowers. Photos for a scrapbook. Have fun!

I dont have or want kids but this is what I would do..... Fishing Walking / Hiking Bike rides Swimming in lakes etc (as long as it is safe!) Build dens foraging for food nature treasure hunt bird watching All this stuff is also teaching them stuff too

My 8 year old daughter likes to play a game she made up. We do it around the campfire, it may seem a little boring, but anyway, each person asks a question, like what is your favorite song, etc.. everyone answers the question, then the next person asks one and so on. My kids love it and it keeps them occupied. During the day we play badminton, (just with rackets and shuttle rockets), play catch, games, so on.
