It's summer, I want to go camping?

Me and a group of friends want to go camping this summer, any good camp sites?

  • We are all 15/16, but pretty much every campsite says under 18s have to be accompanied by an adult! This sucks so bad as none of us really want our parents running around.

  • Answer:

National forest dispersed camping area's have no age restrictions, however they also don't have restrooms or any other amenities you drive into the woods and pick your own spot and provide your own everything. Search national forests in your area Being under age also has another issue and that is curfew laws after picking a destination consult with local law enforcement if there is an issue, of course do anything illegal and that is definitely an end of the trip no brainier.

Bureau of Land Management lands, National Forest lands, State Forests, and some State Wildlife areas allow remote camping without restrictions on age. Contact offices for more information.
