Governor Dodge does have some back country sites. You can also go further North to Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in Northern Wisconsin. They have tons of backcountry campsites there.

Check out (Governor Dodge) state park in Wisconsin. I know they have remote camp sights, but they are camp sights. This is not just going into the woods and setting up a camp. There is no place that I know of where you can do that.
