What are some good camping spots throughout New York?

Good camping spots in london?

  • Me and about 8 friends are planning on camping at the beginning of june.. we are all 16/17 Does anyone know any good camping spots and roughly how much it would cost? Thanks

  • Answer:

Go and buy a book of camp sites from a book shop ! secondly most are on the outskirts of london or further afield . If you want to stay in london why not look in to the youth hosteling organisation! As there are some in Central london!

There are very few camping sites inside London and not many around its outskirts. I'm afraid that the few there are do not accept unaccompanied under-18's, mainly because they have had trouble with kids who have run away from home hiding out at them. I think your best bet is join the Youth Hostel Association (YHA). www.yha.org.uk YHA have camping spaces at their hostels at Tanners Hatch and Holmbury St Mary in Surrey and Jordans in Buckinghamshire, both not far from London, and they have a minimum age of 16 for staying there without an adult.

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/results3.asp?search=london&by=county Here is a good campsite finder, you just type in the area you are looking for a campsite. There is a weblink or telephone number to most of them so you can find out the prices etc as they do vary a lot. Check also that they are happy with a group under 18.

I heard Europeans have camped in the queen's garden.
