Dehydrated foods are good-- for instance, you can get packets of pasta carbonara which just require water being added and heating. For breakfasts, those little boxes of cereal are good, and you can take milk powder to make up to go with it (or just eat the cereal straight if you can't be bothered to make up the milk). For the lunch of the second day you could take some ingredients to make sandwiches- bread and a few small jars of spreads, or perhaps chop up some stuff for a salad sandwich. Don't think about taking cans or tins of stuff. It may seem like a good idea, but it will end up being far too heavy. If you will have access to a camp fire, you can cook delicious jacket potatoes by wrapping the potatoes in foil and dropping them in the coals, and you can bring some toppings with you (sealed bags of pre-grated cheese, little container of chopped tomato, or just bring a little jar of salsa). You could also have a shot at cooking some damper on the fire. That's really yummy and easy as. Seriously though, your best bet is anything that requires you to 'just add water'- they tend to be light and taste pretty good (unless you're carrying all your water with you, in which case, you might want to lay off the stuff that needs water). Take stuff with you to give you energy as well- nuts, dried fruit and muesli bars are all good. Just be very careful that nothing can get into your food. Good luck, and enjoy the trip!

If you ever heard of cooking irons, They're the things you but bread in, close up, and put in the fire. My family brings brownie mix and when we make a fire, put some of the mix in a cooking iron! It's very tasty and it takes like 2 mins!!!! OH YEAH, don't forget the marshmallows, gram crackers, and hersheys chocolate!!!!!!!!
