Where do i buy or rent a tent in Singapore?

Can I rent out or buy some cheap land & just live there in a tent?

    This depends on zoning regulations where your land is located. And "cheap" land? Not so much. I dreamed of buying some land for hunting, maybe even put a rustic cabin up, and there was no way I could afford the land, let alone the property taxes every year. But this, too, depends where you are. Check your local regulations, tax rates, etc., before you get your heart set on the idea.

To an extent, yes you can. The best would be to buy an acre and do your thing. A lot of questions arise, I'm sure, such as: don't I have to have an address? Well, you'd be living off your own land. It's not like you'd have waste/electric/water bills. The only thing I wonder about is authorities and an address. What if an official/L.E.O. needed to locate you? Paints a picture of Rambo. Haha. Plus.. a tent? come on. You're gonna end up building a sweet structure of some type. Building codes are ridiculous and I'm not entirely sure how they work in certain areas/circumstances.. but I wanted to build a natural-esque walkway down the bank at my abode to the stream but placing creek stones and that turned into a big ordeal. I decided to say FUX it.. i'll just slip and tumble down to the flat by the stream when I wanna go relax down there. Check it out. You can do it.. with limitations, I'm sure.

it would be better if you owned the land, then you can do whatever you want with it, renting only land is tough since you might be restricted by the deal needed to rent the land, but there's nothing illegal about living in a tent on your own land, your choice. but the downside is not having a home address and a mailing address.
