Answer:
When you are alone you are going to feel alone. Don't like that? Get a girlfriend and then you'll wish you were alone. HA! I recommend a compass and becoming proficient in orienting. There are a million youtubes about that, start here:

I am almost always alone when I go backpacking into remote wilderness areas and climb to the summit of 14,000-foot mountains. I enjoy taking photographs of wildflowers, wildlife, and scenery. If I traveled with other people, I would be less likely to have close encounters with wildlife because I am very quiet and slow-moving when alone. I once had a herd of three hundred elk graze past me in a meadow with only a few feet separating us. I met a brown bear that stepped out of a wetland a body length behind me; we stared a moment at one another, then walked in opposite directions down the trail. I have nearly touched noses with a herd of mountain goats that I usually visit a few times each summer. I have hunkered down beside a boulder, sharing the protected space with a covey of ptarmigan while a winter snowstorm swirled around us. If you are lonely when camping, then you probably are not getting far enough from people. If you are lonely in developed campground spaces, then sign-up with a sea kayaking trip; visit a local public library; go shopping and ask a lot of questions about the local area; hop on a bus and take a tour of the area; visit a waterpark; go whitewater rafting; visit a zoo or aquarium; visit a tourist information kiosk or forest service district ranger office for information about nearby attractions; eat at an ethnic restaurant or local pub; rent a bicycle; and take a hike.

Solo camping should not be more than 3 to 4 days..

You could visit the neighbors. Sometimes when my husband and I go camping I make to a cake in the Dutch Oven. We can't eat the whole thing so I'll take it to the campsite close by and see if they would like some. We usually end up chatting for awhile or they invite us to play a game of cards, something like that.
