Good, quiet, camping in Colorado?

Where are the best camping locations in Colorado(fly fishing, good scenery, hiking, etc..)?

    Call Ahead- Most of the wilderness areas where you really can get away are restricted to people who have backcountry passes- so you might show up to find that you cannot get access.. Check the National Park service Website- they have a list of all lands that are open to the public. Call a guide service!! it is great to go fly fishing, but call the locals who will know what what fish are hitting on and what to fish for..

One of the areas that aren't as populated and lesser known is State Forest State Park in North Central Colorado- its a beautiful area, I've seen a lot of Moose- gone on many great hikes (Ruby Jewel Lake) Here is a map of the area- http://parks.state.co.us/NR/rdonlyres/8CD91766-79C8-477C-8B52-2224E8E22ED1/0/SForestAreamap.pdf The Poudre River that runs along Highway 14 to Fort Collins is good for fly fishing. The Yampa River near Steamboat Springs as well as Elk River- going north of Steamboat toward Clark/Hahns Peak and Steamboat Lake is great for fly fishing, hiking, camping, etc.. and very beautiful!
