Check out REI. All of their tents have aluminum poles. However, they don't have multiple room tents. What I would do is buy two 4 man tents and then get a canopy or screen tent for hanging out in every day. For our family of four we have a Big Agnes Big House 6 and it was well worth the money. I was dead set on having aluminum poles (too many broken fiberglass ones as a kid). Then we got a Greatland screen house from Target on sale for $52 this week.
