What should I take if I take my dog on the camping trip?

  • What should I take if I take my dog on the camping trip?

  • Answer:

Water I always keep a gallon of water in the truck in case we get stuck somewhere. Don't forget their bowl that they are used to. Bug spray for them, they can't swat mosquitoes like we can. Something they like to lay on. Collar and leash of course. Goodies what dog would be comfortable with out goodies ? Most of all your attention that is all the dog really wants.

As long as that dog is contained to your camp site as doesn't bark and bother other campers. Nothing worse than going camping to get away from the noise, only to have a camper next to you with a dg that barks and annoys the hell out of you. Be respectful of that ALWAYS!

Chicken Legs

Dog food, water and dish, dog restraint and leash, kennel cage, and most important it's dog license, some campgrounds you can't get in with out the tag and proof of vaccinations.

food, water, flea/tick/chigger meds, make sure he's up to date on his shots. (wild animals do have rabies) make sure you know if theres a vet near so you can take the dog if it gets hurt. His bed, some toys, some dog snacks, his leash, sweater if it gets cold where you are and if he wears one.
