I'll be the boring voice of real camping, which is probably what you're looking for, anyway. In one of the Star Trek movies, Mr. Spock summarizes the accepted ritual of sitting around the campfire: Roast marshmallows, then sing songs. I know it's old-fashioned, but hey, if it works in the 23rd century, it should work in the 21st, too. Or if you don't like marshmallows, make some popcorn over the fire. If you bring along genuine coconut oil (which doesn't taste like coconut, and is solid rather than liquid at room temperature), it'll taste just like traditional movie theater popcorn.

well I seen a bunch of drunk guys do this once....they built a fire up big then laid some plywood on top of it and turned their music up loud and jumped in the middle of the fire and started dancing....some fell into the fire and were burned, the others kept dancing till it got too hot,....great sport to watch!
