I camp every other weekend during the summer and we rely heavily on frozen foods. They thaw nicely in the ice chest and cook quickly. We cook frozen taquitos, french toast sticks, chicken patties, burritos, hash browns, sausage and meatballs. Of course, you can't go wrong with eggs, bacon and my all-time camping favorites: canned stew and canned corned beef hash! Yay!

It depends a lot on where you will be camping. Bacon or sausages and eggs would be good. hamburgers and buns, as well as the condiments like catsup, mustard, pickles. Go to the camping or sporting goods section of the local department store, and look for freeze dried foods there. ask your date to bring at least a large kettle for liquids and a good sized skillet. Happy camping!!
