How to make my motorcycle faster?

  • I have a 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, everything is stock on the bike but I want it faster! So far I have topped it off at 162! What are all of my options to make it faster? Please let ...show more

    A cheap option is to change the gearing, new sprockets.but the more top end you get the less low down power you will have .so slower to get to your 100mph but if you do this you might also use less fuel .if you change engine mods will cost you allot of money and the engine wont last very long.

the only thing you can do to get more speed is change the gear ratio (the sprockets) that is the only thing that will actually make it go faster than 162 but you will sacrifice power you would have to change motor components to make up for your loss of accelaration

A Garrett Turbo with 1.8 atmosphere of boost and higher gearing will do the trick. The boost from the turbo will make up for the loss of acceleration time you would suffer normally. Also do you remember the Coyote and Road Runner cartoons, the coyote used something from the Acme Company; just a thought, don't buy from them as the coyote always went 'splat' when he got out of control at 162.....Yeah, right, not you.....
