  • Answer:

Pitbikes and dirtbikes are completely different animales.. While I agree with a lot of what the other answers have to say, its coming from people who have never delt with pit bikes. Pitbikes are serious machines. I would advise against a SSR though, the best out of the box pitbike right now is the Pitster pro LXR. However the kawasaki KLX110 is the most reliable out of all of them..but it takes quite a bit of $$ to make it into a big person bike. I Personally own a Thumpstar..I wouldnt suggest buying one of these as the aftermarket world is a lot better for the pister pro's. And for the other answer that says pitbikes are for going to lunch and the port a pots... Ive got a Thumpstar with Marzocchi forks and Ohlins rear with a dynoed 17hp motor..nothing casual about it.
