What dirt bike should i buy and dirt bike 101?

    DO NOT BUY A 250. Too Much power for you. I reccomend a 150r or a ttr 125. The ttr is small for you, but will give you the basics how to ride and they're cheap.

im 5 foot 5 in and for u i probably would go with a crf150r they r motor cross dirtbikes but they r alot of fun they have lots of torque when im in 3rd gear i can give it some gas and the front tire comes off the ground easily i recently bought it about 2 weeks ago and there not really that hard to get used too so go with the crf150r rmaybe u could go with the crf150f which is about the same thing just a trail dirtbike and not as fast and ALOT heavier then the 150r

Wow your tall for 12! Well I'm 5'7 and 14 and I ride 250's and 125's and considering your a beginner I would look on craigslist.com for a used 250, they are easier to ride than a 125 and your too big for a 85 and 150. There is my 2 cents! =b

I started riding when i was 12 also i started out on a yamaha yz80 great bike but after about a month there was not enough power so personally id start out on a 125 honda cr might be a little tall for you at first but the shocks on all bikes are adjustable, the honda has good high end and has a smoothpower band so you wont flip it when you shift gears.
