How do I find sponsors for my dirt track race car?

If you are an Aussie you will find it very hard to get sponsorship other than going to local shops where the boys get their parts and trying to get a bit of sponsorship that way. THe things like sponsorhouse that we have here are really not all that they are meant to be. My son looked into them to try and get a bit more help and really what they offered was very little and he could do much better by just walking into a local shop and asking for 10% discount. Do a resume for the guys stating what they do and race and what they intend to race and take it around to places that they may buy anything for the cars. Offer to promote the people with advertising on the car. You may also get some better answers if you ask in the car racing section next time.

Try going around to your local shops with their track history and see if any of them want to give you free oil for putting a sticker on your car.
