A Few 85cc Motocross Questions.?

As far as 85cc bikes go the Ktm is best straight out of the box with a lot more to offer. Kx is easier for a beginner and yz and cr about equal with each other although I would more likely go with the yz. The crf150r is also a really good option with heaps of power and gets off the line really well and I would go with that before any of the 2 strokes. I doubt the graphics would fit from the cr as we had a cr85cc and then got the 150 and the shape is different.

When it comes to picking a motocross bike the best thing you can do is pick your favourite colour. For me the best all round 85cc on the market is the ktm but if you are quite big on an 85cc bike then go for the crf150r, the 4 stroke will pull you out of corners alot easier and smoother and you can hold it through the rpm range better.

Not sure how old you are Chris but. . . I ride Kx 85 cc small wheel, it's a brill bike never lets me down and have the best accelleration i have ever felt on a bike, if you are after a BIG wheel i would get a ktm NOT a 150! But 1 of my friends like kx graphics and suzuki engines even tho there simular he got kx frame with suzuki engine and called it a kawisuzki but thats was a brill bike but choose one of overall speed and and accelleration hope it helps

I would have to say Honda is probably best out of all of them. The only reason i would say this is because I have three and they are super reliable. And have you ever thought about just going to the crf150r? same size bike a lot bigger motor. And four strokes you don't have to fix as often. And i don't think the crf150r graphics will fit the 85.
