What is the Australian Motocross bike classes?

What type of motocross bike would be best for a yperson with no expiernce of motocross ever?

  • I'm trying to get into motocross but i have no experience with a motocross bike and I have no idea what kind would be best for a 16 year old beginner

  • Answer:

First thing to know is this, stay away from 2 strokes. They are horrible bikes to learn on and they aren't competitive anymore even in the hands of an experienced rider. There is also no advantage to starting on a 2 stroke and then moving to a 4 stroke. There is no reason to start on something other than a motocross bike, the woods versions are not that much different from the MX versions anyway. You need to start on a 250F. Just one trip to a local race as a spectator will prove my point if you don't believe me.

u probably shouldn't get a full motorcross bike to start with maybe a crf 250x or something equivalent

i wouldnt suggest a motorcross bike to start on your probably best of starting on a trail bike of some sort before you tacke a mx track because it can be quite dangerous out there if you dont know how to ride reasonably good but if you really want go for a 250 four stroke like a yamaha or suzuki, ktm, honda etc and just start small good luck

crf, kx, or yzf of anything 250 4 stroke make your self really good and start on a 2 stroke, get good on it then transition, youll be that much better!
