Goodness people, let's all strive to give better answers to the forum! A DR650 is ridiculous answer - I suspect intended as a joke. 2-stroke 450...just dumb. If you are asking this question, I'm going to assume you are new to motorcycling. A properly sized motorcycle is critical when first learning. There are three two main considerations for you: 1) What type of riding to you intend to do? 2) Your fit to the bike RE #1 - Do you either plan to trail ride / backyard playing around, or learn to race motocross/enduros? If you plan to trail ride, stick with common brands basic trails bike, and air-cooled simple 4-stroke engines. Examples Yamaha TTR-125, Honda CRF100/150, Suzuki DRZ-125, Kawasaki KLX-125. These bikes are great to learn on, and will run with minimal maintenance for years. If you plan to learn to race, then indeed I would consider the 85 2-stroke class. Examples Kawasaki KX-85, Suzuki RM-85, Honda CR-85, Yamaha YZ-85. However, be forewarned that these are very fast motorcycles and a new rider should seek experience help learning and training on these motorcycles. Also critical, know that any motorcycle (like these) designed for racing will require much more maintenance and care. I personally would NOT recommend your first motorcycle as a race bike, even if you planned or desired to learn racing later. Start with a basic trail bike - learn to ride first. Re: #2 Straddling the motorcycle, you should be able to touch the ground with both feet - at least on tip-toe. If you are flat-foot on both feet, the bike is a little small. If you can't touch with both tip-toes, the bike is a little large. If you are still growing, you might be ok with being close to touching both tip-toes to get longer time with your bike before outgrowing. If you are just learning to ride, I highly recommend finding a mature experienced motorcyclist to help teach you the basics. Critically as important as the fit of your motorcycle, is having the right safety gear properly fitting your body! Have fun!

DR650 suzuki

In a motocross bike an 85 2 stroke (KX, YZ, etc.) or a CRF150R. In a trail bike something like a CRF80, CRF100 or TT-R125. You are not tall enough for a 125 or 250 race bike regardless of your age.

it really depends on what your going to do and your age, if your going to race and your 13-16 i would go with any 2 stroke 125, if your older a 250 and if your already experienced with racing and 16+ i would go a 2 stroke 450. i yamaha's. If you are gonna go trails riding, smaller jumps and not race and your 13-16 i would go with a 4 stroke 150 or 250. if you are any older go with a 450.
