You can wait for the PSP GO. It is slide. I'll Go for PSP 1000. I wouldn't go for the PSP 2000 but if you like Skype and stuff like that go for PSP 3000.

the 1000 can be hacked very easily and runs games more smoothly 2000 takes a little more time to hack but it is worth it because you can hook up the 2000 series to the tv 3000 series can not be hacked, well at least thats what i hear. theyre probably working on it right now
