What is the difference between PSP 3000 and PSP slim?

I'm considering buying a PSP, what is the difference between the PSP 3000 and the core?

    I wouldn't buy a PSP 3000, I heard on gameinformer that the screen is realy bright that the you can see the pixels real easy, I would get the 2000 version. but when you get it dont upgrade, go to google and look up some emus for psp

If you're into to homebrew and a large variety in terms of ability, go with a PSP but try to find a 2000 series or even one of the phats(1000) series. The PSP compared to the iTouch is just... More useable in my opinion. Of course if you're looking mainly for music purposes, you can't go wrong with the iTouch.

you would be alot happier with an Itouch a PSP is too bulky for what you are wanting .. I own a psp so I'm not just trying to be a jater.
