How do I access and use the internet on my PSP?

When i tried going to the internet after following some guidelines/steps, i get this message : A connection error has occurred. This attempt to obtain the IP address timed out.

You are not close enough to the router. That used to happen to me i jsut move closer to the router.

Do you have wireless intenet...which is a router box. If you don't then you can't. Sometimes things just say that because they can't connect. Which is the PSP's problem.
