Why is the PSP 1000 way much expensive than the new PSP 3000?

Can you hack a psp 3000 the same way you hack a psp 2000 and 1000?

    well not really because the when the game starts up the system goes through different boot codes unlike the old ones which had simpler codes that is why the old PSP and the new ones can easily be hacked

well right now im not sure there is a sure fire way to flash the psp 3000 there were a couple of guys that were able to run home-brew on the psp 3000 using an exploit in a game called grip shift pretty expensive to get right now though but the guys who made it haven't put out the instruction on how to do it yet until they can fully flash the psp with new firmware as sony would quickly try to put out a patch to stop it and its called the grip shift hen loader and the easiest one to me by far would have to be the 1000 series because its been out the longest and has the most support for it

I Heard that the firmware is different, but im not sure =O My friends say the fat psp is easier to hack, but i guess it depends on the person whos' doing the hackin =DD
