  • Answer:

first of all, on Ebay, if you do not meet the minimum reserve bid, your bid will not count. Minimum Reserve is an amount the seller sets as the lowest possible bid he will accept. If that is not met, then no one gets the item. The seller's feedbaclk is good. But, Ebay is like the Wild Wild West...anything goes. So, be sure you read all the fine print and know EXACTLY what you are bidding on. Is it brand new? is it used? is it refurbished? all important things to know upfront. When the 360 was launched there were lots of people sellling what looked like the Xbox 360, and were getting people to make some pretty high bids. But, when you looked at the fine print, they were selling the xbox 360 console BOX and that's what the winners were receiving....an empty 360 box. The seller technically did nothing wrong. It's buyer beware. Be careful. If it's too good to be true....IT IS.

You have to meet the reserve on eBay to actually get the item. 98.1 is a good trustable percentage for a seller though, and if you are getting the xbox 360 that low, I would go for it! Unless of course you haven't yet met the reserve.

If there is a reserve and you don't meet it the seller has the right to decline the bid, or give you the chance to buy it for his asking price. For 40 bucks, I highly doubt he'll give it to you but hey, its worth a shot, you have nothing to loose. 98% feedback is good, it should work, make sure you pay through paypal, if you get burned, they'll cover it up to 1000 bucks.

if you dont meet the reserve then no you will not get it the reserve price is the MINIMUM price the seller will sell it for and no less
