How to downgrade a 3.80 firmware PSP slim ?

if you dont want to hard mod it, you could by the datel service tool (not service battery). you basically put your battery in this thing and press a button, it then turns it into a pandora. press the button again, and it turns normal. or you can by the datel pandora. either way, its going to be cheaper to hardmod the slim battery.. next, its quite pointless to make the pandora to downgrade the slim, because the slim can only be downgraded to 3.60. 3.60 on the slim isnt like 1.50 on the fat. You cannot install custom firmware from 3.60 without the pandora.

I know this isn't what you wanted to hear, but it's a BAD idea to downgrade your psp firmware. If you downgrade it then some new games that require that firmware update won't be able to run. But here's what you did want to hear. Pandora requires a custom firmwate, so that's why your getting that error message. If you dwongrade to 3.80 OFFICIAL Sony PSP firmware, it still won't work (As far as i know) but you can get http://pspupdates.qj.net/Dark-AleX-s-CFW-PSP-3-80-M33-released-Update-/pg/49/aid/111427. Dark AleX's firmware should work if you load it on. Soz if it doesn't work, I'm not a PSP buff or anything :D
