Would You Recommend The PSP 3000 or the PSP Go?

The PSP Go is a No Go in my books. You can only buy games via the store, you can't play UMD movies (if you want to go that route) on it, and it's clunky. As for the original PSPs, The PSP Slim (PSP-2000) and the PSP-3000 have the best D-Pads out of the original PSPs. While the PSP Slim and PSP-3000 are very close in appearance and specs, the PSP-3000 supports component or composite out for gaming (PSP Slim is only component out for gaming), and I feel has a much better screen, especially if you like darker games, such as Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles. If you're concerned about hackability, the original PSP Phat (PSP-1000) and the original PSP-2000s can handle pandora batteries and thus can be hacked to play everything. If you don't care about the newest games out there, then you can still get a PSP-3000, since it is hackable via chickHEN, as long as the OFW isn't higher then 5.03.

The PSP-Go is a waste of money. It's more expensive than the 3000, and what does that extra money buy you? A lack of an UMD drive and the honor of only buying your games online for $5 to $20 more than the same game for sale on UMD in stores - that is, assuming the game is even available. Sony can't even get their first party games onto PSN in a timely manner, and is making no requirement that new 3rd party releases be put on PSN for download. And as downloads, you won't be able to lend or sell it to your friends, unlike UMDs. The PSP-3000, meanwhile, is $80 cheaper than the Go, can use either UMDs or downloaded games. Yes, that's right, the older PSP-3000 can do everything the Go can do, and arguably do it just as good. Is it any wonder that industry journalists and game developers alike have stated that the Go is a pointless product?

neither, get a 1000 or 2000, if you do you can also buy a pandora battery which is like 15$ on ebay, and hack it, which means you can download any and every game you want for psp for free, i do it all the time lol

i think psp 3000 cuz u can buy a pack unlike the other one which is expensive, besides its basically the same thing just internal memory and a different style of it
