    My friend broke her ds and she asked her parents they said no but she got hers at jackpot and it was fine until she damaged it. So ask you parents like this. Mom dad my ds broke it was a accident and i didn't mean to break it. And if they say it cost a lot say go on craigslist you can get jobs there and toys games pets anything and some people give it away for free because i gave away my nintendo ds away because i was bored of it i even gave it away for free because that stupid thin kept on breaking every time i used it it sucked so the so tell them that but dont tell them about my problem. Hope you get a new ds. <3 meli

Smile, i'm sure your parents will send it off as they wouldnt want to waste their money on something that was meant to last a good few years. Appeal to their better nature, help around the house by doing some good deeds and i'm sure your DS will be back to it working self in no time

just tell them how if you gte it fixed, you won't be annoying anymore, because you'll have something to do with your boredom, and not bother them. i know how difficult parents can be, but if you suggest something that benefits them to, then it'll have a better chance of working out. Tell them that you should send and or return it since they spent so much money on it. Tell them that you are going to complain on how quick it broke and they will probably fix it for free anyway.
