Buy a Nintendo DS Lite now or wait for the Nintendo DSi?

102263 - Is incorrect the DSLite had an App cartridge that gave it Internet capability.

I have a DS, I plan to buy the DSi when it becomes available. I really like my DS. If you play Gameboy games on your DS you may want to get a DS Lite because the DSi does not play Gameboy games, just DS games.

I don't have a DS/i, but one of my friends is in Japan, where it was release in November 2008, and he said the built in camera was really cool. But you do lose the backwards compatibility with GBA games. I would wait for the DSi if you don't have any GBA games you still want to play.

Nintendo DS lite is good to get.Doesn't just play DS games it also features an additional port for Game Boy Advance Game Paks.The game is so much fun.

I have the DS lite which suits me fine... I like he fact that it can play the game boy advanced games as well because they remade a lot of games that I loved when I was growing up for the GB advanced. it is up to you if want to wait, but from the video I saw on it, it doesn't look like there is going to be a big difference other than the fact that it won't be a spot for game boy Advanced games and the screen is apparently going to be slightly larger and something about the wii compatible save cartridge. it is up to you what you want it for
