WHICH IS BETTER THE DS OR THE DSI?

the dsi obviouly it has 2 cameras and you upload stuff into it

Personally I like the good old DS better. Mainly cause I don't need cameras or a music player on my DS. (Sides, I've got homebrew on the moonshell, so I could already do the music player without the DSi) But it all depends on what you think is better. it depends on what is more important to you: DSi - all the spiffy new features, or; DS - a GBA game slot I personally won't buy a DSi because there's no GBA slot. that and I refuse to spend $170 on a handheld system.

The DSi Is better it has two cameras and Nintendo will now be realeasing two version of each game the DS verison and the DSi Verison, this version will have more fraturs that wil take advantage of the new hard ware

The DSi is far better because it has two cameras one on the outside and the other on the inside, you can edit photos and draw on them, also record your voice and just play with it (make the pitch higher or lower and change what kind of sound you want), it has an internet browser using via WIFI, listen to music and play with it the exact same way you record your voice, and best of all you can download free games from the dsi shop, the dsi has a bigger screen (3.25 In.) hope I helped :)

The Dsi has cameras and the picture are easy to edit. It also has a sound thing you can record and then put through a filter. I did a few saying with mine. There are enough good Ds games not to worry about the game boy advance slot. And I am sure nintendo will put out a new version of guitar hero. Another thing is you don't have to turn the dsi off when you change from game to pichat

Everyone is going to say the DSi thanks to the camera's but they are only 0.3 mega pixels. and no that isnt a typo. Its on Nintendo's website. It has DSiWare yes, but if you arent going to buy downloadable apps and games then it could be useless to you. And No. nintendo is not releasing 2 versions of each game. Most games to be released will still be for ANY DS. Some new games coming out will have DSi features in there, but they aren't separate games. I personally prefer the (phat) DS or the DS lite. Thanks to the GBA slot and the battery life seems to be better in my opinion. Also 0.25 inches bigger on the screens is hardly noticeable. Personally I think its too much money for 2 new crappy cameras a slightly smaller screen and a music player, but thats up to you. My honest opinion, Hope it helps.

I would actually say the ds (lite) because even though the dsi is all awesome with pictures and is slim, the original ds (or ds lite) can have gameboy advance games. iI u have or like gameboy advance games buy the ds but if not go dsi. Then again u could always have a gameboy advance to play gameboy advance games AND gameboy games. DSi is only better for downloading games with the shop channel. The Internet channel can't get practically any sites that use Flash (and all sites do basically) The camera is only useful if you don't have or don't want to carry a camera. It's really poor quality pictures.
