Should i upgrade my ds lite to the dsi?

I have a ds lite to but i am getting the dsi this saturday. i say keep the ds lite and try and buy the dsi. that is wat i am doing. then you can play GBA games. and if one of them brakes you still have a ds to play games with

NO, they take 70 bucks off the charge(thus making it exactly $99.99) Also it depends if you want the gameboy slot THAT bad, the DSi has many more pros(such as better sound, larger screens, brighter by 1 notch, DSiware shop in which you get 1000 points and a free internet channel, camera, you can backmask sounds, thinner, no fingerprints) so yes get it but you will have to pay $99.99(which is less than DS lite), also guitar hero isn't too good on that system(have it). It's your choice but I encourage and recommend buying it, also cheatcc.com rates it as a "Great" and 4.4 stars out of 5 so it's good, and the black is really cool cause the camera looks right with it.

Yep get it, you get a brand new DSi, plus $70 extra, this is a very good deal. I don't think there's any place that pay you $70 after you give them your Ds, and plus getting a DSi. Very excellent deal(Or you meant paying them $70 more which is not a good deal at all)

ugh, i think you have to pay them 70 bucks man. seeing as the DSi is more expensive than the lite. i have a DSi as i recently upgraded from the regular DS and to be honest, if you have a Ds lite unless you really need a 0.3 mp camera (pretty pants) then i wouldnt bother,

GameStop will give you $70 trade-in credit towards the cost of a DSi, so you'll have to spend $100 to upgrade. Since you're using the GBA slot on the DS Lite & plan on getting the Guitar Hero series... you'll want to pass on the upgrade. You can trade in your original DS & get a $40 credit towards the DSi, but you're still paying $130 for one. Hope that clears things up!

fyi...the Dsi CANNOT record videos it can onlt take oictures and can record 10 SECONDS or w/e and the other features!

Gamestop is not going to give you a DS I free just if you give your DS Lite to them. Trust me. I have a DS Lite, and I badly want a DS i. I called Gamestop the other day, and this is what I learned: If you want to trade in your DS Lite for a DS i, all you get it 70 dollars towards your purchase of a new DS i.
