Why doesn't the game I bought work on my PC?

PC Game work in US if bought from UK?

    Yes mate it will work. PC games are not region locked. I buy games from the U.S/India/Australia and they work fine in the U.K

Definately, country codes are for dvd movies. I know this for a fact because the wife bought me COD4 from eBay and it was from Austrailia, had their ratings codes on it and everything but it installed and plays with ease.

yes it will PC are PC, PC games are the Same Where ever you go You buy it in the US, just install it in a PC no matter where it is, and you can play the US version of the game

Yes it should do... The files are the same as a US version of Windows and the discs are in the same format.. Just don't buy console games (Xbox 360 mainly, maybe PS3) in the UK and expect them to work everywhere worldwide as they are sometimes in different formats! Oliver
